George was married to Kitty and had two children, Kelly (my wife) and Gregg. He lived in Steamboat Rock, IA and was a pillar in his community. George was a uniquely helpful man with a completely different definition of success.  He started as a barber and ended as the Vice President in a local Iowa bank.  George loved his children, grandchildren, food, mowing and games.  Whenever possible he made the trek to Rochester to help me cut firewood and do my chores (I was terrible at most fix-it things). He had a passion for Tim and Matt's basketball games and hardly ever missed games. George was simply a generous man!
